Covid-19 Update – Many events have been postponed, gone virtual or re-arranged for 2021. Even if you can’t take part this year why not help keep yourself motivated by signing up for a challenge in 2021, find a virtual event, or try some Cake & a Cuppa instead! Sky-Dive

15,000ft Skydive 

Anytime

Feel the thrill of freefall and take on a 7,000 or 15,000ft skydive. Visit our event partners Skydive Buzz for more information and choose to support the Deaf Academy when you sign up. Hit your fundraising target and you can jump for free!

Walk

Virtual Events 

Anytime

If the crowds and race day experience aren’t for you then why not take on a virtual challenge and run, walk or cycle wherever and whenever you like. Register at Race at your Pace and find something to suit you. Set up an online fundraising page and help change young Deaf lives.

Cake & a Cuppa

Anytime

If your skills lie in the kitchen, rather than on the trail or the road, then put your baking skills to go and host a Deaf Academy Cake & a Cuppa event. Have fun with friends or family, find out who wins star baker and help support young Deaf lives by asking people to make a donation.

Exmouth Run

The Clinic Maer 10k and Half Marathon, Exmouth

Sunday 10th October 2020

Starting on the beautiful Exmouth seafront take on the scenic multi-terrain half marathon or shorter 10km road race. Visit the race organisers to sign up and then raise funds to change young Deaf lives.

Dartmoor Cycle

Dartmoor Classic Cycle

Sunday 20th June 2021

Take on a 110m, 67m or 38m cycling challenge across classic Dartmoor terrain. Enjoy the spectacular views and amazing sense of achievement. Always popular, places are limited, so sign up early to make sure you don’t miss out. Grab your place and get sponsored to help change young Deaf lives.

Coast to Coast

SW Coast to Coast Challenge

July 2021

Take on 100km, 50km, 25km or the 20km Exe Estuary Challenge. Walk it, jog it or run it – the choice is yours. Sign up via our event partners Action Challenge and choose to support the Deaf Academy.

Exmouth Colour Bomb

Exmouth Colour Bomb

Held on Exmouth beach, take on the colourful fun as you run approximately 4km through our Colour Bomb stations. Have some colourful fun with friends and family and enjoy the carnival atmosphere. Organised by the Deaf Academy all registration fees and sponsorship goes directly towards changing young Deaf lives. Email fundraising@thedeafacademy.ac.uk to register your interest and be the first to find out more.

Jurassic Coast Challenge

Summer 2021

Follow in the footsteps of dinosaurs and take on this 3 day, 95 mile challenge as you travel from Old Harry Rocks in Dorset to Orcombe Point in East Devon.

Morocco

Mt Toubkal, Morocco Challenge

Sept 2021

Take on the tough, rocky terrain of Mt Toubkal in stunning Morocco and trek to 4,167m to conquer the Atlas Mountains highest peak. Reach the top to be rewarded with magnificent views reaching across the Sahara.
