Exmouth Colour Bomb – We’ve gone virtual…

We know things are strange right now, but we also think the amazing Exmouth and South West communities are up for a bit of positivity. So, we’re taking the Exmouth Colour Bomb virtual and we need your help.

During Deaf Awareness Week, 4th-10th May, we’re challenging you to have your own Colour Bomb day, dressing up in your most colourful gear, posting your photo’s and spreading the cheer. To support you we’ve got some downloadable hats for kids you can colour in and the most colourful fitness video. We’ve also got the colours in British Sign Language (BSL) for you to learn. Go on, raid that wardrobe, have some fun with the kids or colleagues, and spread some positivity.

Take me to the Colour Bomb!

Cake and a Cuppa

Host your very own excellent Cake & a Cuppa event with colleagues, friends or family. Have a baking extravaganza and help support young Deaf lives.

Enjoy your very own bake off and stoke up some friendly competition in the team with a star baker award!

Here’s how it works:

Step One: Contact us today to take part and receive your free Deaf Academy fundraising pack – simply email fundraising@thedeafacademy.ac.uk

Step Two: Promote the event among colleagues in your office or to your friends and host your very own Cake baking extravaganza. Decide whether to add a competitive element of best baker and add a fundraising sweepstake to guess who wins. You can download our printable bunting for extra decoration.

Step Three: Bake, bake, bake – enjoy the efforts of everyone’s Bake Off (or shop buying efforts!) and have some fun. You can raise money by either having an open donations pot or by setting a price for each slice!

Step Four: Donate. Count up your donations and send them on their way to make a real difference to young Deaf lives.

Each calendar month you can choose from an awesome range of different challenges.
