This term for PSHE Day we explored British values – thinking about what it means to be British, identity, and our place in society.

PSHE Days are whole-school days involving all of our students and staff; each day is based around a specific theme related to Personal, Social and Health Education.

This term we looked at our personal identities, what it means to be British, stereotypes, extremism, and online safety, through workshops, art, group discussions, role play, and presentations. We were also visited by two police officers for a special assembly.

At lunchtime staff and students enjoyed scones with cream and jam and other classic British treats!

Our students were amazing – interested, engaged and curious, and they learned so much. We’re already looking forward to our next PSHE Day in May.

A special mention goes to college student Aiden, who was our Academy photographer on the day, and captured some fantastic photographs of everyone. Thank you Aiden!
