A police Community Officer visited Exeter Deaf Academy on Monday 9th November to give students a special talk about staying safe on the internet. Topics covered included how to change your Facebook settings to maximum privacy, how your images and information appear on Google and the consequences that can happen from placing personal information on the internet. All students were very engaged in the talk, asking questions and commenting on their experience of using the internet.

We thank Devon and Cornwall Police for delivering this talk and remind students they can always tell their tutors, teachers, care staff and the police if they are experiencing any trouble online.
