During the first weekend of February the National Deaf Children’s Society welcomed the new Young People’s Advisory Board to their first residential weekend.

The aim of the board is to empower Deaf young people to influence and challenge for change. Our secondary school student Molly is part of the group and travelled up to London to spend the weekend meeting other Deaf young people, taking part in workshops and hearing experiences from past members.

A huge well done to Molly and the whole group – we can’t wait to see what the board achieves over the next couple of years!
