Today, our BSL Teacher Matt with Interpreter Clare led a brilliant BSL storytelling workshop at Exeter RAMM (Royal Albert Memorial Museum).

It was an event open to all as part of Extreme Imagination, Exeter’s festival of writing and stories.

Leia, age 6 was one of the children who went to the workshop. She said,

“I really liked watching Matt sign the story about Gerald the Giraffe. Then we made up stories together about our favourite animals. I drew a picture of a tiger and a snake having picnic. Clare taught me new signs like ‘Flowers’ and ‘Picnic’. I signed my story to the group. I made a new friend called Ivy. It was great fun!”
