Exeter Property Ball happens once every two years and is a highlight for Exeter’s business community. The event held on 1 July, included dinner and live entertainment for 650 guests and a charity auction.
Auction lots included a dinner cooked at your home by Michael Caines MBE, a trip in a Formula One racing boat skippered by champion driver Andrew Langdon, and an evening with Exeter Chiefs and England player Henry Slade and friends.
A £5,000 donation from the Exeter Property Ball, a share of the proceeds from the evening, was generously donated to us.
Emily Severn, Senior Fundraiser, said, “A huge thank you to all involved in organising the Exeter Property Ball. Donations like this are essential to ensure that we can continue to enable Deaf children to successfully overcome the difficulties their deafness can cause; by supporting them to acquire language, develop socially and emotionally, achieve independence and excel educationally.”
Steve James from Nat West, Tim Heal from Ashfords, David Kirk from Kirk Hills, and Damian Cook of Stratton Creber efforts helped to make the event possible. Plus, we’d like to pay particular thanks to organiser Scott Rossiter from Alder King for choosing us as a beneficiary charity.
