Some of our students visited Exeter Quay this week, with the Residential team’s Sports Club.
Our Residential students take part in lots of activites and clubs in their free time, and Sports Club is always a popular choice! As well as the usual sports like football and swimming, students get to try out lots of new and exciting activities – such as bell boating!
Bell boating is a paddlesport which uses a stable craft constructed of two hulls connected with a platform in the middle, known as a bell boat. It’s an excellent introduction to paddlesports for our students who might be less confident in the water, as the boat is stable and the paddlers work as a team to steer and propel it.
Although there was also the option for the more adventurous to jump into the water at the end of the session… brrrrr!
